Softball Recap: Donna North Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Donna North's offense. They came up short against the Pace Vikings on Monday, falling 17-0. If the Chiefs were looking for revenge after losing 19-8 to the Vikings when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Donna North has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. The victory (which was Pace's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Coming up, Donna North will face off against Weslaco East at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Weslaco East is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season. As for Pace, they will square off against Rivera at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
