Baseball Recap: StoneBridge Comes Up Short

StoneBridge lost against Atlantic Shores Christian on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cavaliers lost 12-2 to the Seahawks. On the bright side, the two- run performance marked the Cavaliers' highest-scoring game to date.

StoneBridge is on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, they pushed their record up to 17-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. StoneBridge will venture away from home to take on Grove Christian School at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.86 runs per game on average), something the Cavaliers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, they are taking a road trip to face off against Broadwater Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.15 runs per game on average), something the Seahawks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
