Football Game Preview: Westside Wolverines vs. Stanton Blue Devils

The Westside Wolverines will venture away from home to square off against the Stanton Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Westside's defense has only allowed 15 points per game this season, so Stanton's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Westside is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Parker: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Wolverines blew the Braves out of the water with a 27-0 final score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Wolverines had established a 20-point advantage.

Meanwhile, Stanton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 20-14 to Eagle's View. That's two games in a row now that the Blue Devils have lost by exactly six points.

The victory got Westside back to even at 3-3. As for Stanton, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.
