Patton and West Caldwell pushed the score to 6-2 the last time they played West Caldwell, but on Wednesday defenses reigned supreme. The Panthers never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Winning may never get old, but Patton sure are getting used to it with their 13th in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Abraham Miguel, which was the first he's scored this season.

Patton's victory bumped their record up to 16-1-2. As for West Caldwell, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Patton is set to face off against their familiar foe East Rutherford at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, West Caldwell will take on rival Draughn at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
