Four-star weak-side defensive end K'lavon Chaisson of North Shore (Houston) announced his college commitment live with MaxPreps on Wednesday, selecting LSU.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound disruptive force is the fourth-rated weak-side defensive end and No. 37 overall recruit by 247Sports. He chose the Tigers over Florida and Texas.

Chaisson registered 45 tackles, 13 for loss, along with seven sacks and 28 quarterback hurries in spurring the Mustangs to the Texas 6A Conference D1 state quarterfinals.

He also logged 84 tackles and 21 sacks last year in spearheading North Shore to a state championship.
