California City has no trouble against Desert

After losing to the Desert Scorpions the last time they met, the California City Ravens decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. California City enjoyed a cozy 51-36 victory over Desert on Friday. That 51-36 margin sets a new team best for California City this season.
California City's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cassius 'Hollywood' Brown , who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for Brown. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty'Ron Jones, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for California City and bumps their season record up to 2-4. As for Desert, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
California City won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Kern Valley at 7:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Hopefully Kern Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Friday. Desert won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Boron at 10:00 a.m. on December 2nd.
