Hannibal not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Kirksville Tigers 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hannibal not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Kirksville between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-13, 25-16.

Marissa Falconer paced Hannibal's offense, picking up 12 kills. Falconer got some help from Malia Stolte and her 19 assists. Lyla Dorsey controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Hannibal's victory bumped their record up to 12-1-1. As for Kirksville, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 7-5 record.

Hannibal didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Westminster Christian on the 27th. As for Kirksville, they will face off against Chillicothe at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
