Soccer Recap: Borrego Springs Gets the Win

Borrego Springs won the last time they faced Calipatria and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Borrego Springs Rams walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Calipatria Hornets. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Rams' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Kevin Fuentes and Noah Moll scored all four of Borrego Springs' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Borrego Springs' win bumped their record up to 6-7-1. As for Calipatria, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Borrego Springs will host Palo Verde Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Palo Verde Valley will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Borrego Springs surely won't give up without a fight. Calipatria has already played their next match (against West Shores), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
