Recap: Zachary Broncos vs. Barbe Buccaneers
With a playoff game on the line, the Zachary Broncos rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past Barbe 51-14 at home. Considering Zachary has won six games by more than 35 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Zachary got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kameron Thomas out in front who rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Thomas hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Hudson Spangler, who threw for 127 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes.

Zachary pushed their record up to 9-1 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Barbe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
Zachary will face off against Salmen at TBD on Friday. Salmen will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. Barbe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
