Softball Recap: Hendrickson Comes Up Short

Hendrickson saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flour Bluff Hornets.

Isabella Gonzales and Alyssa Howe stepped up to the plate in a big way. Gonzales scored two runs while going 2-for-2, while Howe went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI. That's the most RBI Howe has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Hadlee Woodard, who scored three runs while going 1-for-3.

Hendrickson's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Flour Bluff, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-4 record.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Hawks face off against the Eagles at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Flour Bluff, they will take on Temple at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
