Cathedral was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They blew past the Adams County Christian Rebels 10-4. The result was nothing new for the Green Wave, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Cathedral and bumps their season record up to 8-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Adams County Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cathedral will challenge St. Aloysius at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Adams County Christian, they will host Copiah Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
