Soccer Game Preview: Lodi vs. St. Mary's

The Lodi Flames will head out to take on the St. Mary's Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Lodi came up short against West on Thursday, falling 4-1. The Flames have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Carlos Osorio, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for St. Mary's offense. They lost 4-0 to Lincoln on Thursday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Rams haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for Lodi, they now have a losing record at 6-7-4.

Lodi came up short against St. Mary's when the teams last played back in January, falling 3-1. Can Lodi avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
