Volleyball Recap: Dayton Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Crosby came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Dayton, but Marley Miksch wouldn't allow it. The Broncos blew past the Cougars 3-0 on Tuesday thanks in part to Miksch, who had 17 digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played.

While Dayton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-23.

Dayton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-15 record this season. As for Crosby, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-21 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Dayton is set to face off against their familiar foe West Fork at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Crosby will take on rival Porter at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
