Soccer Game Preview: Chester vs. Mid-Carolina

The Chester Cyclones will challenge the Mid-Carolina Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Chester is headed into Tuesday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clinton on Friday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mid-Carolina). They never let Eau Claire get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Friday. Madilyn Horning was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Chester's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Mid-Carolina, their win bumped their record up to an identical 7-3.
