Basketball Recap: Langford Comes Up Short

Langford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by the Highmore/Harrold Pirates and fell 66-36.

Despite the loss, Langford still got an impressive performance from Kassen Keough, who posted 18 points. That was a full 50% of Langford's points, marking the 12th time in a row Keough has put up more than a third of the team's points. Conner Glines was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.

Langford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Highmore/Harrold, their win bumped their record up to 4-13.

Looking ahead, Langford will head out to challenge Waverly/South Shore at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Highmore/Harrold, they will face off against Herreid/Selby at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Highmore/Harrold is on a seven-game streak of home losses, and Herreid/Selby a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck.
