Lennard took down Palmetto on Thursday, a win that might not have happened without Tommy Martinez's effort. Martinez tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits, which was good enough to also set a new career-high in strikeouts.

Looking ahead, Martinez and Lennard will venture away from home to challenge East Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lennard is 8-1 against East Bay going back to April of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
