Basketball Game Preview: Carlisle Indians vs. Bellbrook Golden Eagles

Carlisle is 0-3 against Bellbrook since December of 2020 but things could change on Saturday. The Carlisle Indians will square off against the Bellbrook Golden Eagles at 1:15 p.m.

Last Saturday, Carlisle was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 37-33 to Madison.

Meanwhile, Bellbrook didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Ross on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 44-39 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Eagles.

Bellbrook is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points per game. As for Carlisle, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Carlisle took a serious blow against Bellbrook in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 57-12. Can Carlisle avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
