Baseball Recap: Superior Central Comes Up Short

Superior Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westwood Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 on Thursday.

Jaykob Dahm was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Superior Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Westwood, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Superior Central will square off against Marquette at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Westwood, they will face off against Calumet at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
