Baseball Recap: Marceline Tigers vs. Paris Coyotes

Marceline scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against the Paris Coyotes as the Marceline Tigers made off with a 12-2 win. With that victory, Marceline brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Barrett Stearns was excellent, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Weston Molly, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

The win was the third in a row for Marceline, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Marceline has the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Penney at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Marceline is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Paris, they will head out on the road to square off against Mark Twain at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
