League recap: Seiling stuns Garber in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Seiling, who took down 10th ranked Garber, 50-14.

Robby Webb of Medford ran for the longest rushing play in B District 1 (8 Man) this season against Laverne last week.

Hunter Carl threw for 233 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 20-34 with 0 interceptions.

Carl put up the best numbers through the air as Covington-Douglas lost to Ringwood. Carl's favorite target this week was Connor Nunley, who caught 8 passes for 131 yards.

The Wildcats' Carl and Nunley have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-9 quarterback Carl has thrown for 608 yards this season, while Nunley has 29 catches for 334 yards. Pond Creek-Hunter's Trenton Grimes leads the league in rushing yards with 388.

The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between the Wolverines and the Panthers. Garber enters the game ranked 19th in the state, while Pond Creek-Hunter ranks fourth.

David Kerr's team added to the longest winning streak in B District 1 (8 Man) this week by beating Waukomis, 50-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Panthers.
