Basketball Recap: John Glenn Little Muskies vs. Sheridan Generals
The John Glenn Little Muskies were the 53-52 winner over the Sheridan Generals when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. John Glenn took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Generals. John Glenn has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, John Glenn saw an underclassman step up: Brayden Davis dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Cooper Briggs was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
John Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Sheridan, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.
John Glenn will head out on the road to square off against the Colts at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Meadowbrook focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Wednesday. As for Sheridan, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Panthers at 7:15 p.m. Maysville is coming into the match hot, having won their last nine games.
