After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pickford, Newberry was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took down the St. Ignace Saints 42-28. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Newberry's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for St. Ignace, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
