Basketball Recap: Chesapeake Comes Up Short

Chesapeake lost against South River back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chesapeake Cougars lost 73-48 to the South River Seahawks. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 282nd, while the Seahawks are ranked 26th).

Chesapeake dropped their record down to 1-14 with the loss, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. As for South River, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-1.
