Volleyball Recap: Ciera Wilson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Burney over Chester + How To Watch

Burney lost against Chester back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Volcanoes.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-10.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ciera Wilson, who had 36 digs. Another player making a difference was Victoria Jimenez Garcia, who had 24 digs and one block.

Burney's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Chester, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Burney wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Williams on the 23rd. As for Chester, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Hayfork on the 23rd.
