Crossroads Christian falls despite strong effort from Brodrick Jenkins

If the Crossroads Christian Colts were riding high off their 68-19 takedown of the Cresset Christian Academy Eagles last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Crossroads Christian fell 51-43 to Ravenscroft on Monday.

When it comes to explaining why Crossroads Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brodrick Jenkins. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with two steals. Jenkins continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Ben Gladieux was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.

Crossroads Christian's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Ravenscroft, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Crossroads Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bradford Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 16th. The timing isn't great for Bradford Academy: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Crossroads Christian has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road. Ravenscroft will take on Cary Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
