Football Recap: Glenwood Comes Up Short on the Road Against Valley

Glenwood kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 20-14 to the Valley Rams. The Gators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Valley can attribute much of their success to Caden Foreman, who threw for 221 yards and one touchdown while completing 84.2% of his passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground. 91 of Foreman's passing yards were hauled in by Malachi McCullough.

Looking ahead, Glenwood will square off against Elba at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley, they will challenge Smiths Station at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
