Huron never let their opponents score on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles 39-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Huron was led to victory by Anderson Porisch and Landon Hulst. Porisch rushed for 51 yards and two touchdowns, while Hulst gained 158 total yards and two touchdowns. Hulst's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 108 rushing yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Huron proved: they limited Aberdeen Central to a paltry 2.5 yards per carry. The team can thank Oakley Anderson for the heroic effort on defense: he. Huron's run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 4.55 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 5.97 on average over their last five games.

Huron didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Hulst, Riley Winegar, and Ty Kleinsasser picked up one apiece. Kleinsasser also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 15. Huron got some further help from Anderson: he picked up a sack and made 16 total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Huron pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.3 points on average over those games. As for Aberdeen Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
