Mineral County came into Friday's match having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Rams on Friday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Serpents this season.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-18, 25-13.

Mineral County's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 5-17. As for Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
