After failing to score in their last match, Hawthorne Math & Science Academy made sure to put some goals up on the board against Geffen Academy on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Geffen Academy Bruins as they made off with a 4-1 win. The result was nothing new for the The Aviators , who have now won eight contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Geffen Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Diego De La Torre (2), Jesus Martinez, and Mateo Duran.

Hawthorne Math & Science Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Geffen Academy, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Hawthorne Math & Science Academy will welcome Lennox Academy at 2:15 p.m. on Monday. Lennox Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Hawthorne Math & Science Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Geffen Academy, they will head out to face off against Royal at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Royal's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
