Basketball Recap: Victory Baptist Academy Drops Season-High Score on Shenandoah Baptist Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pleasant View Christian, Victory Baptist Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past Shenandoah Baptist Academy 40-38. The Patriots' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Victory Baptist Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noella Price led the charge by putting up 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylah Miller, who posted ten points.

Victory Baptist Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Shenandoah Baptist Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victory Baptist Academy will venture away from home to square off against Hendersonville Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shenandoah Baptist Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Philadelphia Christian School at 5:00 p.m. on February 4, 2025.
