Baseball Recap: Bret Harte Falls Short of Amador in the Playoffs

Bret Harte and Amador squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Bret Harte had to settle for second. They came up short against the Buffaloes, falling 6-0. The Bullfrogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Buffaloes earlier this season, when they won 6-3.

Bret Harte got a good showing from Wyatt Scrobecky, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. That's the fewest earned runs Scrobecky has allowed since back in April.

At the plate, Bret Harte saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Lenard, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Bret Harte's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Amador, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-13-1.

As of now, neither Bret Harte nor the Buffaloes have any future games scheduled.
