Baseball Recap: Red Boiling Springs Takes a Loss

Red Boiling Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Macon County Tigers, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 11-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Red Boiling Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Macon County, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9.

Red Boiling Springs didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-0 loss against Jackson County on the 11th. As for Macon County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 5-3 win against Liberty-Benton on the 12th.
