Ysleta's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Burges Mustangs, sneaking past 5-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 two weeks ago.

Ysleta's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Hernandez, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Ysleta's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Burges, they dropped their record down to 11-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Ysleta will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair will be back at it again later today.
