Lamar came tearing into Thursday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lavaca Golden Arrows 57-24. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Golden Arrows are ranked 204th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
