Football Recap: Lennard Starts Season with Win at Home + How To Watch

Lennard gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed past the Pasco Pirates to the tune of 38-6. The Longhorns have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Jacob Mobley went supernova, throwing for 196 yards and three TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 41 yards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (151.9). Another player making a difference was Thomas Shine, who picked up 108 receiving yards and one score.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lennard will square off against Spoto at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pasco, they will take on Nature Coast Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
