Baseball Recap: Danvers Gets the Win

Danvers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 13, 2024. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Beverly Panthers. The Falcons have beaten the Panthers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.

Danvers got a big performance out of Josh Henry, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jack Curcuru, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Danvers' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Beverly, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, Danvers and Beverly will both be playing Masconomet Regional the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Chieftains at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Falcons will host them at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
