Basketball Game Preview: Granite Hills Grizzlies vs. Exeter Monarchs

The Granite Hills Grizzlies will head out to take on the Exeter Monarchs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Granite Hills is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They secured a 55-49 W over Orcutt Academy. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Grizzlies.

Meanwhile, Exeter waltzed into their match on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Ravens by a score of 61-48.

Exeter's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-6. As for Granite Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 21-10.

Granite Hills came up short against Exeter in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 41-33. Can Granite Hills avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
