Volleyball Recap: Sartell-St. Stephen Falls Despite Big Games from Lilly Beckstrom and Gabi Schumann

Sartell-St. Stephen saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Annandale Cardinals by a score of 2-1. The Sabres have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Sartell-St. Stephen's loss came despite strong showings from Gabi Schumann and Lilly Beckstrom. Schumann had 24 digs and three assists, while Beckstrom had nine digs and three aces.

Sartell-St. Stephen's loss dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Annandale, their win bumped their record up to 18-5.

Sartell-St. Stephen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Detroit Lakes on the 14th. As for Annandale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Delano on the 13th.
