If Perry Hall Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Mount Airy Christian Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Joey Stanton. Mount Airy Christian Academy snuck past Perry Hall Christian with a 48-44 victory on Monday thanks in part to Stanton, who posted 22 points along with six assists and six boards. His afternoon made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Gilbert, who put up seven points and ten rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games he's played.

Mount Airy Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Perry Hall Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Mount Airy Christian Academy and Perry Hall Christian will both be playing Maryland School for the Deaf the next time they take the court. Perry Hall Christian will host Maryland School for the Deaf at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Mount Airy Christian Academy will host them at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
