Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jerzi Carlson and Adrianna Miller Lead Winside to Victory

It was a proper cat-fight when Winside took on Randolph on Saturday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won five in a row.

Leading Winside to victory were Adrianna Miller and Jerzi Carlson. Miller had seven aces and three digs, while Carlson had six digs and two assists. Those seven aces gave Miller a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Winside was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Randolph only served three aces.

The win got Winside back to even at 2-2. As for Randolph, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Winside has already played their next contest (against St. Mary's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Randolph, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Stuart at 6:30 p.m.
