Volleyball Recap: Warner Robins Comes Up Short

Warner Robins lost against Veterans two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Demons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warhawks.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Veterans to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alyssa Baughier, who had six assists and three aces. That's the most aces Baughier has posted since September 6th.

Warner Robins dropped their record down to 8-19 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Veterans, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

Warner Robins will head out on the road to square off against Academy for Classical Education at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Veterans, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Houston County on the 29th.
