Softball Game Preview: Seaside Seagulls vs. Warrenton Warriors

The Seaside Seagulls will face off against the Warrenton Warriors on Saturday.

Seaside is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Scappoose on Tuesday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 10-2.

Meanwhile, Warrenton owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They put the hurt on Valley Catholic with a sharp 6-0 win. Considering the Warriors have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Warrenton's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Seaside, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-9.

Seaside skirted past Warrenton 3-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Will the Seagulls repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
