San Antonio Christian had won two straight home games and Sloan Guillory did his part to make it three on Friday. The Lions took their contest with ease, bagging a 41-6 win over the St. Anthony Yellowjackets with plenty of help from Guillory, who threw for 103 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in one rushing score. His passing game has become a key predictor of San Antonio Christian's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.

San Antonio Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Aaron Edmonds.

San Antonio Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for St. Anthony, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
