Basketball Recap: DeForest Takes a Loss

DeForest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oregon Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Norskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 238th, while the Panthers are ranked 91st).

DeForest's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Oregon, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-10.

Looking ahead, DeForest will square off against Monona Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Oregon, they will be playing at home against Beaver Dam at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
