Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 45-28 to the Akron-Westfield Westerners. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Westerners from their previous meeting back in February.

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Akron-Westfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Trinity Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Akron-Westfield will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Beresford at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
