After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Silverdale Academy, Boyd-Buchanan was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They won by a set and slipped past the Collegedale Academy Collegedale Eagle 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Buccaneers: when they faced off against the Collegedale Eagle back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Boyd-Buchanan's win bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Collegedale Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Boyd-Buchanan is taking a road trip to face off against Concord Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Collegedale Academy, they will square off against Lakeway Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Collegedale Eagle surely won't give up without a fight.
