Volleyball Recap: Derby's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Derby waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Haysville Campus Colts. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Colts, too.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Derby who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 20-25, 25-18.

Derby now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Haysville Campus, their defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-14.

Coincidentally, Derby and Haysville Campus will both be playing Maize South the next time they take the court. The Colts will head out to face the Mavericks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
