Soccer Game Preview: North vs. Metro Tech

The North Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Metro Tech Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for North's offense. They fell just short of Sierra Linda by a score of 1-0 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Metro Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to Centennial. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Knights couldn't quite close it out.

North's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Metro Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7-1.

Everything went North's way against Metro Tech in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, as North made off with a 4-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for North since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
