Basketball Game Preview: Hillcrest Huskies vs. Jordan Beetdiggers

The Hillcrest Huskies will square off against the Jordan Beetdiggers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Hillcrest opened the new year with a less-than-successful 50-38 loss to Juan Diego Catholic. The Huskies have struggled against the Soaring Eagle recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Jordan came up short against Tooele on Thursday and fell 47-38.

Jordan's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Hillcrest, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Hillcrest suffered a grim 49-26 defeat to Jordan in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Thankfully for Hillcrest, Tess Joseph (who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
