Volleyball Recap: Fort Zumwalt East Comes Up Short

After flying high against Orchard Farm on Monday, Fort Zumwalt East came back down to earth. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Fort Zumwalt East was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 25-6.

Fort Zumwalt East's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Fort Zumwalt South, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4-1.

Fort Zumwalt East has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Holt on the 17th. As for Fort Zumwalt South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Fort Zumwalt North on the 17th.
